ck/ck: Cancer →
ckck:
Cancer has taken many of my personal heroes. Saul Bass, by far my greatest inspiration as a designer, died from it. So did Paul Rand, another legendary designer and inspiration. Jack Lemmon, Paul Newman, Audrey Hepburn all died from cancer. Billy Wilder, my all-time favourite film director,…

Looks like I'm an Anti
I really can’t suffer ditzy all-beautiful female protagonist-cum-damsel-in-distress who everyone adores because she’s the most beautiful girl in the world and is one half of the ‘true love’ with an all-rounder hunk and whatever drivel. Pfft… thank God for the other characters with more interesting (though sufferable) fates (of course, they’re not main...

Pencil & Eraser
Pencil: I'm sorry....
Eraser: For what? You didn't do anything wrong.
Pencil: I'm sorry 'cause you get hurt because of me. Whenever I make a mistake, you're always there to erase it. But as you make my mistakes vanish, you lose a part of yourself. You get smaller and smaller each time.
...
Eraser: That's true. But I don't really mind. You see, I was made to do this. I was made to help you whenever you do something wrong. Even though one day, I know I'll be gone and you'll replace me with a new one, I'm actually happy with my job. So please, stop worrying. I hate seeing you sad.
.
Parents are like the eraser whereas their children are the pencil. They're always there for their children, cleaning up their mistakes.
.
Sometimes along the way... they get hurt, and become smaller (older, and eventually pass on). Though their children will eventually find someone new (spouse), but parents are still happy with what they do for their children, and will always hate seeing their precious ones worrying, or sad.

on the masks people wear and premonitions
I thought I knew, but it seems I never did and I’m not sure if I want to know anymore.
Many times, I oscillate between giving things the benefit of the doubt, then jadedness, then (foolish?) hope, then realisation, and the cycle repeats, be it on different things or people.
Optimism and skepticism are divided by mere tipping points that are all but rational in nature.

Lee Minho is a good friend of Kim Bum
sis: I want to meet people like Lee Minho and such and such
me: I like travelling because of the serendipity
sis: serendipity?
me: Like, how you can meet people, who know people who know people...
sis: wow, lofty ambitions
.
Travel and meet miracles?
